Waqala allatheena ashrakoo law shaa Allahu ma AAabadna min doonihi min shayin nahnu wala abaona wala harramna min doonihi min shayin kathalika faAAala allatheena min qablihim fahal AAala a(l)rrusuli illa albalaghu almubeen(u) And those who associate say: had Allaah-SWT willed we would not have worshipped anything besides Him-SWT , neither our fathers; nor would we have forbidden anything apart from Him-SWT . This did those before them. Nothing is then on the Messengers-AS excepting a plain preaching. (16:35) |
Walaqad baAAathna fee kulli ommatin rasoolan ani oAAbudoo Allaha wa(i)jtaniboo a(l)ttaghoota faminhum man hada Allahu waminhum man haqqat AAalayhi a(l)ddalalatu faseeroo fee alardi fa(o)nthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeen(a) And assuredly We-SWT have raised in every community a Messenger-AS saying: worship Allaah-SWT and avoid the devil. Then of them were some whom Allah-SWT guided, and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel about the land and behold how has been the end of the beliers. (16:36) |
إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَى هُدَاهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي مَن يُضِلُّ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ In tahris AAala hudahum fainna Allaha la yahdee man yudillu wama lahum min nasireen(a) If you are solicitous for their guidance, then verily Allaah-SWT does not guide whom He-SWT sends astray and for them there are no helpers. (16:37) |
Waaqsamoo bi(A)llahi jahda aymanihim la yabAAathu Allahu man yamootu balawaAAdan AAalayhi haqqan walakinna akthara a(l)nnasi la yaAAlamoon(a) They swear by Allaah-SWT the most solemn of oaths that Allaah-SWT would not raise him who dies. Yea! It is a promise on Him-SWT incumbent, but most men know not. (16:38) |
Liyubayyina lahumu allathee yakhtalifoona feehi waliyaAAlama allatheena kafaroo annahum kanoo kathibeen(a) This will be in order that He-SWT may manifest to them that wherein they differ, and that those who disbelieved should come to know that they had been liars. (16:39) |
إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَيْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْنَاهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ Innama qawluna lishayin itha aradnahu an naqoola lahu kun fayakoon(u) Our-SWT only saying unto a thing, when We-SWT intend it, is that We-SWT say to it: Be; and it becomes. (16:40) |
